Hotel Explora. Sacred Valley of the Incas, Peru

The Explora Hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas was designed as a base from which to explore a great and remote destination: Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

It is strategically located to allow travelers to fully immerse themselves in the essence of their surroundings, discovering both key sites and remote locations alike. Hotel Explora is located in one of the most remote corn plantations in the region, near the town of Urquillos.

ARO HOTEL EXPLORA CUZCO3

Aro Collection, designed by Carlos Tíscar.

One of the key places in this hotel is the common area, where our Aro armchairs coexist with Andean blankets, recycled wood and spectacular architecture.

The Aro collectiondesigned by Carlos Tíscar, was born from the idea of building a collection based on a type of traditional construction that we can see in some Windsor chairs. The milling that runs along the crossbeams in its delivery with the legs is a key detail that gives a unique finish, craftsmanship and quality to this collection.

An interior design project designed to offer silence and privacy.

Each area of the hotel is designed in harmony with its surroundings, generating a dialogue with the high Andean mountains that surround the valley, as well as with the surrounding plantations that are still harvested by the villagers today.

They describe luxury as “having what is necessary for an incredible experience, such as a cozy atmosphere”. Therefore, each area of the hotel is a place to rest and recharge. They are designed to offer silence, privacy and space, providing a deep rest after exploring all day.

Respect for the environment and environmental commitment.

The Explora project is characterized by its strong commitment to the protection of the territories. After more than three decades with presence in South America, it has become an active agent in the protection of the environment, in the fight against climate change, in the care of people and communities that accompany them in each of the territories in which they are present.
