Born in Australia, Marcel studied industrial design in Perth and founded the design studio “Zuli” in Melbourne in 2004. He received several awards, including “Best Young Designer” from Wallpaper magazine.
In search of new horizons, he went first to Milan to immerse himself in the international design culture and in 2007 to London, where he worked as a senior designer at Tom Dixon. In 2012 he founded his own studio as a means to express his work in a more personal way.
