On the occasion of World Industrial Design Day (June 29), which this year has the theme ‘Responsible Consumption and Production’, in line with the objectives of the UN, we want to highlight Capdell’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
Our tradition historically linked to cabinetmaking stems from wood, which is the protagonist in all our collections.
The wood we use to give life to our furniture always comes from controlled logging forests – where one tree is planted for every one that is cut down – and we are PEFC certified.
We use water-based stains and glues and almost all the materials we use are recyclable.
Our cutting robots optimize wood waste as much as possible, and any waste that may result from manufacturing is reused to generate energy to power our own production system and heating system.
Our commitment to the responsible and efficient management of resources has the corresponding certification that accredits the quality of the entire control process.
