¿What does a traveller expect from a VIP lounge at an airport? A comfortable space with privacy and nice areas to eat something, work or simply relax.  For the airline company, this is a representative space where to attend in an exquisite way their most loyal guests. Thinking in their guests, the company Avianca trusted in the interior designer Francesc Rife to redesign in an elegant style the exclusive VIP lounges of the El Dorado Airport, Bogota (Colombia).

The close relationship and the mutual trust with Francesc Rifé Studio, has made possible the collaboration of this new project, the Avianca VIP lounge for the El Dorado International airport.

For this project, bringing a sophisticated and sober aura to the VIP lounge areas, Francesc Rifé has integrated to his aesthetic vision, our Col chair designed by Francesc Rife, the Concord barstool with metal base designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune and the Culmen table designed by Rafa Ortega.

With multiple and elegant options, this project of 3500 square metres is trying to maximize the user experience “through the distribution and material nature” from a “equilibrate contrast of textures and volumes”.

The Culmen tables are a fixed value in the entire project, along the relax, reading or gastronomic areas, with the unmistakable Capdell style matching the Concord barstools and the Col chairs.

The neutral colours, the simple and organized lines, define the searched harmony that the studio looks for both areas, Gold and Diamond. Maximizing the spaces and silence with upholstered wall panels.
